Holy Doughnuts!

It has been eons since I blogged last! Sorry dear followers, reality got ahold of me and the time for blogging wasn't really existent. Or maybe it was, and I just never bothered to utilize that time for blogging ^.^
It has been a very very....VERY busy summer. Could have been worse I guess, but meh. whatever. It has still been good. As you know, I started my summer out with a bio class right away the Monday after finals week. It went well-I met a girl that is now a good friend of mine, I pulled off a 'B' somehow, and the class ended just in time for me to take a job at Walmart. The job went well (some days better than others), met 2 awesome girls (one of whom is on her way to have coffee...or something with me! Yay!), and made money (hurray!) I ended that job and started to breathe a sigh of relief, but had to cut it short because my great grandmother had a stroke.....crap. She is doing well and living with my aunt and uncle and giving the speech therapist and the insurance a handful (stubbornness runs strong and true on my maternal side). We all, especially her, can't wait to see her go back to her own home. Hopefully she recovers her speech enough that it won't be much of a problem. I sure do love that woman. She is so incredible.
Life is pretty good right now, despite the fact that school starts a week from tomorrow (ack!). I guess I am ready to go back. I'm even willing to go to class! Just not so enthusiastic about homework :/
I am a little sad because I am not going to have the roommate I thought I was going to have, but I know that she has a good reason not to come and that she is doing what God wants her to do, which means that we will have an even better year together when she comes next fall!

Quick! Here is a scary thought: Next spring I will be a college senior! (I'm still graduating in May of next year though).

Here is a peek at my latest work!
