What to say? I've been very busy of late (which is why I haven't updated?) finishing up the semester. My biggest project is for graphic design 3. We are making a viewbook for the "department of visual arts." The art department for us normal folks. It is almost done. We just have to make a few minor changes and print it out! I am excited to see how it turns out! I got very lucky to be on a team with 2 very talented people. I might even be a little sad to stop working with them. The only project I am actually worried about is for screenprinting. one of my prints didn't turn out well so I am having to re-print. It is a 3 color print so it will take a long time. I hope I can get it finished!
Aside from that, this and finals week (which I only have 2 days of. Hurray!) don't look to bad.
I am all set up for classes in the spring. Here is what my schedule looks like:
American Government 8am MWF
Masterpieces of Literature 9am MWF
Graphic Design IV 11am MW
Digital Darkroom 6:30pm M
Awesome schedule right? I only have NO classes T/Th and I am done by noon on MWF- other than an evening class on Monday. I am very much looking forward to it!
What else can I ramble about?
In late November I went to the Hunter Pace as a rider! It was a lot of fun other than having a difficult horse and having a swollen pinky from him breaking his lead rope's clasp....before we rode...I'm very glad I got to go! We got 3rd place and a yellow ribbon a prove it! Pretty good since the ride ranking is based only on luck!
I bought 5 yards of mint colored fabric for $5! I draped it over my middle window. It goes lovely with my deep red curtains!
I went to a ball the other night! We did a lot of line dancing. It was very fun. Because it was mostly line dancing I actually didn't get to dance that much with Nick =( but we still had fun and he looked very sharp in his black fedora. =)
I have a bonsai tree. I feel bad for not being able to give it adequate sun and fresh air. When I get home I will be sure it has what it needs though. I do make sure it gets plenty of water and keep it away from the heater. It seems to be doing ok.
It is rather cold outside.
I got my Christmas present to myself in the mail today. I like it =) It got it for half price as a gift from IC as thanks for being a scholarship donor! I wanted this but it was one of the few things that was not in the coupon deal because of the cost of making it (since it is made in Uganda...) But that was ok. I can wear this bracelet with anything! and it saved me 30 bucks.
Bing Crosby's Christmas music is the best.
I finished an anime last night. It was good. I'm a bit sad that it is over. It is always like that with the good ones...
I can't wait to go home!
Grandmama is living with my parents now. I'm really glad it all worked out.
Break is 6.5 days for me!
Tron is coming out soon!
I might get to go on a date with Nick to the cheesecake factory because he has a job now!...though...we won't be able to do it again for awhile I imagine...can't have him spending his paycheck on dates and such...that's life i suppose.
